Forum on SLNAC Expedited Arbitration Rules and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules

On 29 April 2026, SLNAC organized a Forum on the SLNAC Expedited Arbitration Rules and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.

The SLNAC Chairman, Mr. Hiran de Alwis, emphasized that UNCITRAL aligned Arbitration Rules of SLNAC provides a mechanism for the expeditious resolution of commercial disputes by consent of parties to reach a final resolution in a cost- and time-effective manner.

The Chief Executive, Mrs. Karnika Jayatilake welcomed the distinguished invitees and informed the gathering that SLNAC is embarking on a transformative phase to deliver better and more efficient services.
